One year with LIFETIME!
I am convinced that I have the best job in the world! I have now worked at Lifetime Fitness for one year and it has been one of the best years of my life. HANDS DOWN! I have been through intense growing pains this year, to say the least. I now feel I am a better person and instructor because of these things that have occurred in my life. "What does not kill you makes you stronger" is my new motto. I have the amazing oppertunity of inspiring and motivating others to be healthy and happy through teaching group fitness. It is my passion to build others up and make them feel good about themselves. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing somebody get stronger week after week of working so hard. I teach everything from cycling, total conditioning, fusion, 50/50 ect. I have been so blessed to be a part of the team that is so supportive not only in the gym but also in my personal life. I have never felt so much warmth and friendship from all my friends. I would not trade my job for the world. This year has been packed full of change that was very uncomfortable for me to accept in the beginning. The outcome has been so much more and I now realize why things happen or steer you in another direction. The friendships I have made throughout this year are irreplaceable. Doc, Jenn, Kaycee, Andrea, Richard, Stacie, Stephanie, Debb, Ashli, Heidi, Jamie, Stefanie, Whitney, Chrissy and Jody. I couldn't ask for a better team of people to surround myself with on a daily basis. Each one of these people have impacted me for the better. Not only my team but to all the members that continually change my life on a daily basis! There is not a feeling in the world when I walk into the room to teach and feel the positive energy and smiles of everyone in my classes. I know that it is good to plant your roots else where and sometimes the growth is ten times more. It is how I feel now at the end of this year. I know that things in life happen for your own good and benefit and I feel as though it was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I can't wait for many many more years to come! I love you Lifetime Friends. Happy New Year to my friends family and all those that read my blog. Until next time...stay healthy!

The Good OL days
So, I wasn't planning on blogging tonight as I have been gone all day and I just got home at 12:30 am. I thought I would check my email before I hopped into bed and came across this picture that my sister sent to me. I spent some time with my two best friends tonight remissing on the old days. I was thinking to myself and asking my friends, if you could go back in time and spend two weeks hanging out..what time in your life would you choose? I chose around 10-11 years old when the only thing important in my life was basketball and playing with all the neighbor kids. Oh and chasing the neighbor boy! I couldn't believe my eyes when I downloaded this picture from an email Allison sent me tonight. Which is crazy because this picture was taken in 1992 which is was when I was eleven years old. I remember I didn't have any worries. I didn't get my first real trial in life until I was twelve years old. This was the year that I was so carefree with no worries. It is so funny to see how the style has changed! Thank goodness! In this picture is my two older sisters Amanda, Allison, me in the white shorts and my cousins up at our cabin at Bear Trap Fork in Big Cottonwood Canyon. This is the cabin my grandpa and grandma Daw owned. It was a very special memory for our entire family. Now that we are about to bury my grandpa on Tuesday morning, I am glad that I can take a look back and remember those memories that my grandpa allowed us to have because of the cabin he shared with his family. Allison's bangs were a little sausagie and Amanda was actually pretty darn cute. Except you look like you may have used the tanning bed one to many times! :) Check out my shirt..I was going for the "Saved by the bell" look, it was my favorite tv show at the time. Wow! THE GOOD OL DAYS! If I could choose to go back anywhere in time, this picture would be the day! I was so happy! I am now going to bed with a smile on my face!

Angel to Heaven-Grandpa Daw Dec 13 2007
Yesterday was a sad day for the Daw family. My grandpa J. Weston Daw passed away at about 9:30 am. What a lesson I have learned from his life. I learned so much about myself through him in this past month. I am so grateful for the tender, sweet experiences I have shared at his bed side. Grandpa you are somebody that lived your life right and now your up in heaven in peace this Christmas. Christmas was his favorite holiday. He gets to spend his Christmas this year in the best way. We will surely miss the great memories we had with you. The way you slobbered all over our faces when we came to see you with your kisses. Your favorite song. "Zippa dee do daw" Going hiking up at the cabin with our walking sticks. Your laugh and how you always had tears running from your eyes every single time! The way you hummed music! Man I love you! Your an angel and I know you will watch over and protect me now the rest of my life. Goodbye Grandpa! I'm sure glad my dad is your son. He is just like you!

HAVE I BEEN PUNKED?
I was asking myself this very question...have I been punked!!!! Literally! It all happened when I walked into my first single adult party last night since being newly single once again. Let me just say, that it was not a good sight. I was so depressed. I can't believe my friends and I got in our car and fought the horrible roads and weather to make it to this party. First of all, I walked in and immediatly thought..how did this happen and how much longer do I have to go through this in my life. I wanted to look over and just see my husband sitting on the couch, smiling with a halo over his head. Angels singing Hallelujah above and I could grab his hand and say it done!!! Lets get on with it already.
Instead, I walked in and saw some things that I needed to blog about today. I immediatly walked over to the couch to see if anyone struck my attention, but the only thing that did was the Jazz game that was on. After they lost...I just scoped out and observed the single scene. First of all I hope to not offend anybody by this blog..and If I am maybe you need to stop reading now. I have to comment on the fashions because, to me it is important to be up to date with the world today..for the most part. A little nerdy is cute at times, but I must say that this was not cute. I looked over and saw a guy with his slicked back hair and white table cloth like shirt on with a brown leather jacket with a lamb wool collar folded down. He was shmoozing with some girl so I was happy for him. She although didn't seem to be that interested but he had his groove on. He thought so at least. Then I looked over and saw the 40 year old guy that I thought could be my dad..wearing my favorite...pants with loops. The loops that come down the side of the pants and have a long pocket underneath it. I think they call them carpenter style? And last but certainly not least it was the guy that was wearing denim on denim. Now, I just don't know where he got his fashion tip that night. His jean jacket was literally purchased from the gap in 1991 with bright silver buttons. He was also wearing some tapered mom jeans with a darker color denim to finish off this denim outfit. I think he wanted to not match so much, so he had to go darker denim on the bottom. I was already not excited to be there so I said to my friend Katie, there is a denim dude over there...I'm not really interested in anybody here are you? She said lets go...and we told the rest to follow us to the car. I was outta there! Needless to say it was a funny experience. I am not shallow, I promise! I just needed something to blog about today. Next time I go to a single adult party.............well I don't think it will be happening any time soon. I should hopefully be a little more positive. In the meantime..I believe that those party's are for the birds! YIKES....BIKES! :)

2 Losses
I had the worst day of my life yesterday, so I thought I might blog about it. Very hard to watch your grandpa try and release himself from his body. He is ready to pass on but is holding on with one thread. I have a strong testimony now of the plan of salvation. Allison and I had a few moments alone with my grandpa when he did something that startled us. My grandpa yesterday did not speak a word. His energy level wont allow him to talk. Out of the blue he opened his glazed over eyes and said "Hi Dad" he than said, "Already!" I believe his Dad was in the room to pick him up. He than waved. I know this to be true. She said something to me that made alot of sense. She told me that its watching somebody struggle to live that you realize the most important thing in your life is family. I believe in that so much. The past few weeks our family has really grown close. I have never really sat down and talked to my Aunt Tracey or My Aunt Karen like I have these few weeks. They are great ladies. I even grew closer to my Aunt Nanete and Uncle Gordon and my cousins. I am so lucky to have the family that I do. I love my sisters so much. I want to take this oppertunity to tell my sister Allison how much I love her and think the world of her more than she will ever understand. Despite the fact that I am about to lose my grandpa, I lost a very important person in my life. Justin and I parted ways yesterday and decided it would be best to break up. I did not think that this day would come but it did..I thought he was the person I was going to spend the eternities with and raise a beautiful family. I still have hope that he will realize that is what he wants...cause I know without a shadow of doubt, it is what I want. I love you Justin, I hope for the very best. In the end I hope we both get our happy ending together. I am drained, I am tired and emotional today. I just need a friend and my family by my side. I still am hopeful. I still have faith and I am still going to carry on. Until next time......Faith is by my side.
